Day 1 in TAIPEI

 Reached Taoyuan airport around 5 am plus, suuuuuuper early.

it was already quite bright over there early in the morning,

5am in Taiwan looks like 730am in Singapore.
haha.

took a bus from the airport to Taipei station.

here we are! @ Taipei station.

the 7-11 there is really a CONVENIENT STORE! there's like sushi, rice boxes and lotsa food!

Our breakfast:

Cheese sausage, Chicken-pau, Sushi and salad.

quick breakfast from 7-11.

took a cab down to our hotel near Ximen station.

Apparently we were too early for the check-in time,

so we left our luggage at the hotel and went sight-seeing. :p

our hotel was just beside 西门町！

Our first stop: 中正纪念堂

国家图书馆就在对面！

headed to 忠孝复兴站, searching for OGUMA.

i think i've seen this before in singapore, but this one in taiwan is definitely much tastier compared to the one i had before! the custard inside just burst out after the first bite!

and we found OGUMA!

spent some time there, bought around 2 cartoons of shui-mei-mei on the first day!

super 夸张～

after that, we went searching for the Hello Kitty shop.

Although we found it, but the queue was too long, so we left after taking some pics.

a taiwanese lady recommended us to a noodle stall near-by.

though the shop looks kinda 毫不起眼,

but the noodle there's definitely worth a try. not forgetting the soup!

 shop-shop around that area, then headed back to 西门～

check out the crowd @ 西门町 on a Saturday.

back to hotel first for check-in!

then back to 西门町 for dinner.

it's super convenient for us to get to 西门町 or 西门站,

just a few mins walk and there we are! (:

阿宗面线！best mee-sua i ever had!

i didn't take a picture of the long queue outside 阿宗面线，but look! these people were all holding on to a bowl of their meesua, and they don't even mind standing around the street, enjoying the yummy-yummy meesua!

taste super normal to me. lol.

i wasn't tempted by the oyster omelettee! it was already very late by then, feeling too sinful. hahaha.

but started to feel hungry when i reached hotel -.- tried 铁蛋 for the first time! i like it. (:
